Antony has been working as a Social Justice Officer for the Justice and International Mission Unit of the Synod for more than three years. He was previously involved in various social justice campaigns before working for the Synod, predominantly in the education sector.

The Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand is having their very own Fair Trade Coffee Break. Come enjoy a cup of Fairtrade tea or coffee, some Fairtrade snacks and other light refreshments with some of the Fair Trade Association Staff and Volunteers.
Promotion and Information about Fairtrade to RMIT and surrounding community. Local Fairtrade retailers and organizations will have stands and people available with products and information.
ARE YOU AUSTRALIA'S NEXT LATTE ART CHAMPION??Competitors will be required to make 8 drinks (2 caffe latte's, 2 cappuccinos, 2 macchiato's, and 2 designer beverages which can include fairtrade syrups) in 10 minutes.
All coffee used will be Global Cafe Direct's Fairtrade Organic Coffee.
All competitors will be judged 50% on presentation and 50% on taste.

Come celebrate Melbourne's Fair Trade Fiesta in the historic surroundings of RMIT Storey Hall, corner of Swanston and LaTrobe streets, on Friday 15th May from midday til 10pm!
A diverse range of funky attractions, informative sessions and rich cultural entertainment throughout the day include:
10am-2pm: Education Sessions for Secondary students with: short film screenings; soccor ball juggling' and 'What makes coffee and chocolate fairtrade?' discussions
3pm-6pm: Chocolate Fondue Party and traditional Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony
6pm-8pm: Presentations on Fairtrade Fashion, Announcement of

Great Fair Trade coffee will also be for sale and there's is a chance for the public to do some of their own campaigning with our letter to chocolate companies.
