Speakers bio
Antony has been working as a Social Justice Officer for the Justice and International Mission Unit of the Synod for more than three years. He was previously involved in various social justice campaigns before working for the Synod, predominantly in the education sector. He is Roman Catholic and brings an ecumenical perspective to his work with his Uniting Church colleagues. He has studied theology at the United Faculty of Theology, and has completed qualifications in community development and community services management. Antony’s current work foci are: child labour, Christian persecution, fair trade and investment, JustAct, international mission, mental health reform, prison reform, tertiary education and poverty and work justice for home workers. Antony is married and has two children (with two dogs and a cat!).
